What The Signup Sheet collects, and why.

Organizer accounts

To create sheets you register with an email address and a password. We store your email and a one-way hash of your password. We use your email to sign you in, send password-reset links, and — if you turn it on — notify you of new sign-ups.

Sign-ups

When someone signs up for a sheet, we store the name, email, optional comment, and quantity they provide, so the organizer can see and manage the list and so we can send a confirmation with a cancel link. This information is visible to the organizer of that sheet.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep organizers signed in and a small token cookie to protect forms from cross-site abuse. Public pages also load Ezoic advertising and analytics, which may set their own cookies as described in their policies.

Ads

Ads are shown only on public pages. There are no ads in the organizer dashboard or on the pages where people sign up for your sheet.
